My Story

Like many others, my journey to optimal health started after I had officially hit rock bottom.

10 years of partying and living the fast life in London in my 20’s had all caught up to me. Becoming a mother to my first daughter was the straw that broke the camel’s back…. I had made too many ‘withdrawals’ from my health bank and not enough ‘deposits’.

I was exhausted yet wired. Hypervigilant and unable to sleep. I felt like the walking dead… Doctors couldn’t give me an official diagnosis and I looked well enough …… but every day was a challenge.

Skipping from one doctor to another and not believing I needed anti-depressants, I found myself on the doorstep of a local nutritionist. She sat and listened. She wiped away my tears. She asked the right questions and undertook the right tests. Finally, a diagnosis…. I had crippling adrenal burnout.  And that is where my journey and education on health and wellbeing began. Throughout the next year with her help, I healed myself through healthy eating, supplementation and self-awareness. I went from the walking dead to running my first marathon in record time…!

I lived by the Hippocrates statement:  ‘Let Food by thy Medicine and let thy Medicine be thy food’. By the time my second daughter arrived, I had found my groove and my passion ‘Optimal Health and wellness’. Weaning my girls onto a plethora of vibrant foods full of life force was another milestone for me and cemented my interest in children’s nutrition and wellbeing too.

I have had a life out of balance, and I have felt the repercussions…  Correct nutrition is only one of the several important pillars to overall wellbeing. Helping people become well and to connect back to themselves is a passion of mine. I have a genuine and honest rapport with people and a keen interest in helping.
